Today's show paid tribute to Kauai's Waipa Foundation non-profit organization, for all the good work that they do. And with their annual "Music & Mango Festival" happening this weekend, the music also highlighted some of the musicians who will be performing there.

I also played music from this long-out-of-print 2-CD release entitled NA MELE PANIOLO (produced by the Hawai`i State Foundation on Culture and the Arts in 1987) -- but only the recordings that were done at Waipa Farm in 1986. The group, Na Molokama, was comprised of David Kawika Sproat, Samson Mahuiki, Kapeka Chandler, and Barlow Chu. Here's what they sang: Maikai Kaua`i, Pua Lilia, Ekolu Mea Nui, and a medley of Kawaihau, Anahola, and Moikeha.
